‘Downton Abbey’ Reveals First Look At New Cast Members of Season 5

The British period drama introduces two child actors who play the growing children of Lady Mary and the late Lady Sybil in the upcoming season 5.

Downton Abbey’ fans, we have great news for you. Season 5 of “Downton Abbey” will premiere on PBS on January 4, 2015. Recently, new photos of the young cast have been revealed.

We now have a new sneak peek at the next season of Downton Abbey! For the last four seasons, we’ve watched as the aristocratic Crawley family have seen the world as they know it slowly slip away.

Life just isn’t as grand when Downton Abbey isn’t on.

The new photos from Downton prove that we’ll see more growing children around the next season. So exciting!

In the first photo, we see Miss Sybbie Branson, the daughter of former chauffeur Tom Branson and his wife, the late Lady Sybil.

In the second photo, we see Master George Crawley, son of Lady Mary and the late Matthew Crawley. He’s the heir apparent to the Earldom.

We can’t wait to see what these young people in the Crawley dynasty will be up to during the season. Four-year-old cutie actress Fifi Hart will have Sybbie, while three-year-old twins Oliver and Zac Barker will play George.

The staff at Downton Abbey, led by the always-loyal Mr. Carson, have worked hard to keep everything running perfectly. The images shown in the last teaser trailer, showing the grand abbey’s perfectly-manicured grounds, show that old aristocratic way of having everything just right.
