Whenever the cost of gas starts burning holes within our wallets, we start paying closer focus on the development of alternative energy technology. At this time, one of those up-and-coming technologies is thermal technology, which utilizes one of the most common types of energy: heat.
To know the technology, we have to know just a little about thermodynamics, which is the study from the laws that govern the movement of warmth. Although the word might seem intimidating, we already comprehend the basics of thermodynamics through good sense. For instance, we know when we were to put a hot mug of coffee in a freezer, it can’t take long for the coffee for cooling down. This is because heat travels from hot items to cold things. Heat travels from the hot coffee and escapes in to the freezing cold air and can continue until the air and also the coffee are the same temperature.
The word thermal technology could be a confusing one because individuals use it so broadly. Generally, when individuals use the term “thermal technology,” they mean the methods we can use heat to complete what we want. For example, some people use the term thermal technology to consult climate control — for example, stopping the movement of warmth with insulation, or changing the temperature inside a room. Because heat always really wants to travel from hot to cold, it’s tough to make it go in another direction. In fact, no one is able according to the laws of thermodynamics. Air conditioners, however, use special fluids that may work within these laws to create a room colder. Read “How Air conditioning units Work” to learn how they do that.
Some electronics, for example thermal fax machines will also be said to use thermal technology. These electronics use heat to complete their job, instead of climate control units, which move heat around to complete their jobs. A thermal fax machine, for instance, generates heat from electricity in the print head. Then, it applies this heat to special thermal paper or via a transfer ribbon to print faxes. This process makes for a simple, durable fax machine that does not even need inkjet cartridges to work.
Turning heat into useful energy is tough, but advancements in neuro-scientific thermal technology make it more possible than in the past. Perhaps the most exciting use of thermal technology has related to capturing the sun’s heat to create electricity. Next, we’ll learn how this is possible and why some believe it is the energy of the future.

Saving energy is within our blood, and that we have been involved in the manufacture and offer of Air to Air Energy Recovery Equipment for pretty much 40 years, and have been manufacturing Ventilation/Heat Recovery Units for more than 20 years.
Experienced technical applications staff will carefully evaluate your boiler needs and supply customer equipment solutions with reliability and process improvement in your mind. In order to serve the whole Central Florida market, we maintain sales and repair offices in Orlando and Tampa.
Thermal Technologies’ ice dam prevention products provide convenience by providing peace of mind to our customers, understanding that their homes or companies are prepared for winter.
Thermal Technologies’ superior design enables Direct Heat Transfer, making Thermal Technologies’ products probably the most energy efficient de-icing products available. The separation bewteen the snap-loc top and base unit are made and manufactured within tight tolerances. This separation eliminates the options of a cover panel based on the base panel, yet enables direct heat transfer or direct thermal conductivity to happen between the heat source and aluminum alloy thermal panels. No other product designed, manufactured or sold even compares to the exeptional quality and outstanding performance from the products offered by Thermal Technoloiges.
