Nicki Minaj's "The Pinkprint" is due out November 28th, which happens to be Black Friday.
Nicki Minaj’s upcoming album, The Pinkprint, was expected to be strategically released on one of the busiest shopping days of the year: Black Friday, November 28. However, Nicki has now officially confirmed that the set will arrive a few days earlier than that.
Before taking the stage at Fashion Rocks at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, Ms. “Anaconda” took to Twitter to reveals November 24th as the date we’ll hear her third solo album.
The announcement follows the release of two chart-climbing singles, the “Baby Got Back”-sampling “Anaconda” and the ballad, “Pills N Potions.”
Before previewing her Pinkprint singles, the rapper/singer also released loose tracks on which she flexes her rap muscles, such as “Chi-Raq” and “Yasss Bish!”
She also hopped on the remix to Young Thug’s “Danny Glover,” which is where she first teased the coming of new music, both album and mixtape: “I got something for you ‘Lookin’ Ass Ni–as.’ Week and a half, I’mma be in that ass. Pause. It’s like I’m working on an album and a mixtape at the same motherf-cking time.”
